He's listed on a couple different sites as having a 64" reach. Is this true? He's 5'10 with a 64" reach!?

To put that in perspective... Demetrious Johnson has a 64" reach. Joseph Benavidez is listed with a 65" reach!

If that's indeed true that's a tribute to what he's accomplished to this point, that's a pretty huge disadvantage.

Yea that would make a lot more sense. 70" would be short for a typical fighter / striker but perfectly normal for someone who is 5'10.

I sometimes get the feeling, especially regarding international fighters, that the reach stats are calculated via height alone. Like the Vitruvian Man.

Jones absolutely does use his reach to his advantage, but it doesn't make him a great fighter. Using that reach and his physical advantages successfully make him a great fighter (though the eye pokes are *still* dirty as fuck).

Is his height exaggerated though? Here is him with Fedor and he looks about 2 inches shorter to me.
