In general, when you go through a hard training camp then a nasty ass weight cutting....while doing all the promo touring, interviews, etc....all for fight day that suddenly, may get cancelled; but someone else steps up on short notice to help you out....not just to allow you full pay + PPV points (which could double the pay); but to allow you to do what you went through all that shit for in the past 2-3 months.....then you'd be very thankful and not ragdoll him like you could.

Not fixed or anything, but didn't go full Khabob on him. Kind of like Cyborg giving Evinger clear chances to recover during their fight rather than swoop in for her usual GNP.

lol, no. Khabib had a dominating performance but he was gassing after 3 rounds. He also was getting his TDs denied after rd 3 and didn't want to keep emptying his tank. Put your tinfoil hat away.

You are right sir, Khabib is on a level nobody else is.

Not sure if I buy the whole sandbagging theory. I guess it's possible. But anyone who would risk that is an idiot. Not uncommon though I'm sure.

Could also be that he had 4 opponent changes in 1 week and was mentally drained

I think he felt comfortable enough on the feet that he didn't want to force the TD attempts. I also think he enjoys giving his coaches a heart attack by testing himself or basically ''showing off' his stand up .
