Look, if you have ever fought or trained hard, you will notice in that fight, how nice Khabib was being to this guy. He took it slow, he didn't smash him, he just beat him the nicest way he could.

I respect that.

Those elbows didn't look too nice lol

But yeah, he was nice afterwards for sure. I really fucking wish Ferguson/Khabib happened.

those elbows in the first to the side of the head were very nice. Even cut him up a bit.

I did like how Khabib showed him love after the fight. The guy stepped up huge against one of the best in the division, and took a beating, and you could see Khabib was grateful for his sacrifice.

He was super respectful AFTER punching him in the face 60+ times.

He really showed great sportsmanship post fight though.

As in he took it easy on him? No, I don't think he did.

Uhhhh those punches from back mount weren't taking it "nice" at all. If he was being "nice" he would have gone for a submission

Those elbows were even polite. He could have swung with far more power, but he just short threw or chicken winged them. They were cutting elbows, not blunt force elbows.

He was VERY nice to this guy.

Khabin might have felt comfortable and non-threatened in there, but he was for sure making his best to smash that dude, don't write fanfiction on reality.

That's what YOU are doing.

I on the other hand train guys. I can spot when people are holding back.

Khabib held back a WHOLE lot.

I train guys as well, not pros, but I teach. You're just fantasizing hard, chill a little man.

Yes he was punching Horcher with care and respect.

Lol some great responses

I couldn't see Khabib holding back.

You don't have to agree with me, but compare it to his other fights, he was holding back and being pretty nice.

He took it VERY easy on him.

How? And why would he? He had a return to make and was out to prove something. He wants to make the strongest case for a title fight and since he wasn't fighting a well known opponent he'd have to live up to expectations and run through him. Especially considering how fights have been put together lately (based on popularity as opposed to rank). He even went back to his corner and said to them "I almost had him" after the first round. He didn't want an unknown guy looking good against him in any sort of way. Trust me, being nice was an after thought to "destroy this guy".

Was he holding back or was he nervous, or rusty or worried about an unknown opponent. No one will ever know but if he is so great then that fight should of been finished quick and it wasn't. Need to see more time in the fight to understand if he is still #1

Who was the guy he fought? Exactly. He mauled a no name fighter who was on his ufc debut. Not even top 20. Please could they make any easier on him
