Khabib vs Islam strengths?

I think last night showed how string Khabib is physically. I do believe that Islam is the better prospect in the standing dept but to me , Khabib looks stronger physically and more diverse. Granted, volk is a tank and not easy to deal with for anyone, but i just feel like just watching the grips and positioning, technique that khabib is a batter grappler.

Lots of guys are better technical strikers than Khabib,
but it's his chin, grappling, confidence, aura, and fight iq that make him the best ever and better than everyone else, and that goes for him against Islam as well.

Islam was off when he got clipped near the opening bell and stumbled backwards. Khabib's been hit with way harder shots than that from way more powerful strikers and never even reacted.

Khabib didn't fight Volk, yet his legend somehow grows every time Islam does anything.

So then why would their mutual head coach say that Khabib is better and Islam has never beaten him in a spar?

Why does the sparring footage show Khabib dominating?

Why did Khabib never get scratched in 29 fights while Islam has been dropped, beaten up, knocked out and wobbled in multiple fights?

The quote is he never lost sparring sessions. That means the sparring as a whole with multiple rounds. That's like saying you never lost a fight even though you lost some rounds. It's not that far fetched to think that Khabib was able to match or beat everyone he sparred with when you look at his skill level and his fights. Some people are just that good that they beat everyone, in sparring and fighting.

Of course that doesn't mean sparring with limited options like striking only or grappling only and starting from specific positions. They mean full on sparring sessions, those are usually the hard sparring sessions. There are a lot of fighters in combat sports that never lose in those type of sparring sessions either. They either match or win those.

Islam is "a good striker, and very technical grappler," who fights methodically and carefully.
