To those who don't follow boxing Kovalev was much like khabib an undefeated killer who openly laughed at carrying his opponents deep in to fights to try and inflict career ending damage. Stone cold personality, no nonsense, no ego. Then he fights Ward. First fight was close but his bully ego was exposed then they fought again and he more or less quit in the 8th completely shattering his psyche.

Rhonda VS Holm is another similar fight where you had an elite grappler face the first elite striker of her career and destroyed her both physically and mentally.

If Khabib doesn't win this could be a career changing moment for his mental state. The pressure of fighting Conor is also unmatched, he will never have had so many eyes and cameras on him his entire life

Kovalev got robbed in that first fight then punched in the dick in the second.

Conor will KO Khabib stiff.

I was gonna type this exact same thing tomorrow...
...which is today

...because I’m writing this yesterday.

Another bad analogy on Sherdog. This is a daily occurrence.

Kovalev just got KO’D this past weekend, his career unraveled pretty quick. He is also 35 but you really can’t group these two fighters together. You really hav no clue how fragile Khabib is.

Watch the q and a he's asked about his record a d goat talk, he said it's on his mind that he gets nervous about losing. Conor is going to be so deep in his head assaulting his manhood for being a fighter for 20+ years and scared to stand with a smaller fighter. He will also ask why he didn't leave the bus. Khabib has no self respecting answer for these He will be laughed at in press conferences, he has never faced anything even remotely close to this type of pressure

What? That’s still doesn’t mean anything. He probably doesn’t know how he’s going to react to a loss. Pump the breaks!

Lmao @ Holm being an elite striker ... or Ronda an elite grappler

Let's say Conor beat Khabib. In hindsight I'm sure people in 30 years are gonna look at the dolly-incident as the first breaking point of Khabib, and they're gonna post that pic of Khabib looking terrified under that dolly-attack. People say that Conor plays mindgames, and they're right. This time around he knew that breaking the opponent would take more than simply calling his kids names or resting his balls on their forehead.

lmao@ you. Holly is an elite striker, and Ronda is an elite grappler. There's absolutely no way around it (except if you're comparing them to men, which is obviously stupid)

Actually more a SRL vs Manos de Piedra parallel...

so what are the parallels? the fact that khabib is undefeated?

superb analysis.
