Khabib vs. Barboza, now thats a fight id like to see! :)

Barboza wins, I think. His TDD is too good and Khabib's striking is very poor.

I do agree that Khabib needs a top ten win before he gets a shot, he's won one fight at 160 pounds since 2014.

If it stays on its feet, it could be very intriguing.

I wouldn't be intriguing, Barboza would chop him down :)

After seeing what he did to Gilbert I tend to agree, but Khabib seems to pressure more than Gilbert did and we'd probably see more clinching from Khabib than we did with Gilbert. I think if Barboza can stay off the cage and off his back he wins, but Khabib might be able to take him down.

In a 5 rd fight, I think Khabib would get to him.

In that sentence I mentioned that IF the fight was on the feet that it wouldn't be intriguing.
If it was to play out however it would play out, then sure, it's intriguing.

Your a moron. Cowboy doesn't pull out of fights.
I don't believe anybody for half a second when it comes to Cowboy backing out or not taking a fight.

Exactly. He would probably fight Khabib for a jet ski and a case of Budweiser.

RDA, Healy, Tavares, Tibau, Shalorus. Most of Khabib's opponents have been grapplers. It's about time he got a matchup against a striker, especially one with TDD. I really think this is the fight to make.
I think it's a good fight but honestly I think Khabib beat him easily. He probably beat him striking wise too because when you fight a guy like Khabib you need to avoid his grappling game. I see Barboza coming with a very low guard and be TKO or dominated in every aspect of the game. The title is just a matter of time.

Lol like the UFC uses and goes by sheepdog rankings

If you're going by UFC Rankings exclusively, you're leaving out many talented fighters that exist outside of the octagon. 2 of the top 10 fighters during that time were in other organizations, 1 of which happens to be the current lightweight champion.

Here's a few other links to where RDA ranked back then. He's as high as 6, as low as #11 depending on the site.

Definitely see your point. Either way, I'm really curious to see Khabib vs some guys with good TDD like Barboza, or really anyone in the top 5. I personally don't like Khabib's personality and I really need to see more of him vs top competition before I'm willing to say he's one of the best.

I hope he gets shut up soon.
