Moicano's manager, Alex Davis, was sitting right behind Khabib when the bus was attacked. Translating his quotes the best I can:
"It was chaotic, we don't expect this things to happen in the US. The media day had just ended and we were going back, me, Moicano and his wife. In the same bus was Khabib, right in front of me, and his managers Islam and Ali, and also Chiesa, Namajunas... I was using my cell phone when I heard some knocks on the window and shouting. I look and there was a gang outside. Khabib got up and started to shout back at them. That's when I realized what was happening."
"Suddenly, something broke the bus' window and I saw Chiesa all bloodied up and Khabib wanting to get out. So I grabbed Khabib. I knew he had had an incident with Lobov, and in my mind [that gang] was the Russian mafia. 'These guys are gonna get gunned', I thought. I thought Khabib was gonna get out and worsen the situation."
"[Then] Khabib told me: 'This is easy, we're used to it. Stay cool, Alex. I'm fine, I'm gonna get this guy.' He was fired up, and I was trying to calm him down. I didn't know how many people were [outside], I knew there was a lot, and I was watching all hell break loose, security guys trying to catch them, a chaotic situation. The bus had opaque windows, and many of us were standing, so I didn't have a clear ideia of what was happening, and Americans were on the ground frightened. [...] I think Namajunas was shook. They're not used to this. We're used to it happening in soccer, in the streets, so we don't lose our nerve. Moicano and his wife are cold-blooded, they were just watching and curious to see what was going on."
-----------
EDIT for more quotes:
"John Williams, from the UFC security crew, was amazingly shrewd. He not only confronted those guys, but also closed the bus' door to prevent anyone from coming out. He was very calm and he saved the situation, and he's 54. If it wasn't for him, it could've been a tragedy [if Khabib, Ali and Islam got out]."
"I just hope the police finds Conor before the Russians do."
