To be fair mate he has an awesome Jab.

Most people dismissed his stand up after the commentary from the Al fight. They put him on blast. Which is funny when you look at Al's face after that fight.

Not really his striking skills but his effectiveness. And his defense is certainly some of the best ever. However rudimentary his striking is, it was effective.

I feel Khabib was too reckless this fight. Of course in the end people only remember the result.

Not sure if this would have been a trend of his going forward OR if it was urgency due to the leg kicks OR a specific game plan for Justin OR a result of his emotional state. Khabib ate some shots this fight that he didn't have to and usually never does. On the ground it made sense to be reckless as Gaethje proved in rd1 he had nothing for him there. But not on the feet.

not even just that. he had a mumps breakout the week before & his broken toe. he risked a hell of a lot coming in right off the bat.
