-he says tony is his toughest opponent ever
-cowboy was a great fighter, but his time is over
-conor cherrypicked cowboy
-conor needs to fight tough contenders and fight them at lw division and cut weight
-conor is ducking risky matchups
-conor rematch only makes sense because of money and drama, but not from a fighting point of view

Why u run from rematch then?

Lol

All due respect to you homie, but if you beat someone you hate, you are content to revel in it and let it eat them up. Even more since Conor always refuses rematches to anyone he's beaten.

Personally, sure, I'd be happy for a rematch if I was in his shoes, but you know it's just out of his disdain for Conor. None of these top guys are genuinely scared of one another... except maybe Ford Escort. He might end someone

Khabib is petrified. He is affraid of a smack and if youre affraid of a smack a smack from Conor 2.0 will feel like double barred shotgun

He isn't running. When they fought, he made Conor look like a child.

He's enjoying making Conor actually earn the rematch, and pointing out Conor hasn't taken any right steps yet.

Khabib needs Conor to stay relevant. That's why Khabib and his team don't want to give Conor a rematch even though they keep mentioning him

Essentially Khabib's implying that Conor isn't worthy of facing him again. To me, this stands out as a lack of confidence. If Khabib hates Conor so much, shouldn't he be more than willing to kick his ass again? Goats are willing to fight anyone at any time. Not seeing this from Khabib.

And no, I'm not a Conor fanboy in the slightest.

Cant wait for Khabib v Tony

Says the man who would never fight outside of his comfort zone.

yeah, khabib should be rematching conor for ever until conor wins. he's a fucking pussy for fighting the actual #1 contender in the division.

true GOATs don't beat contender after contender, they fight the division's biggest diva again and again to establish their legacy.

He's fighting Tony fucking Ferguson, what are you talking about lol?
no bro ! he should fight someone he already beat 2 fights ago in dominant fashion ! that is fighting out of your comfort zone !

It's really not that difficult to understand Khabib Hates Conor. Hate is a strong word but what Conor did in the build-up to their first fight was appalling. Khabib has absolutely no reason to give him a rematch. By not giving him a shot, he will constantly be in McGregor's head as I'm sure Mac thinks he can beat him in a rematch. He will never find out which is probably way more entertaining to Khabib than offering a rematch.

Lol wow you make winkydicks sound stupid

Khabib swears up and down Conor is irrelevant and needs 10 wins for the rematch to happen yet he can't stop talking about him...

Uncle Dana is forcing the fight to happen and Khabib was shocked to realize he doesn't call the shots like he thought he did

I think he just enjoys making Conor live with it. Conor quit in that fight, even before the crank. He gave up and let it happen and you know for sure it eats away at him every time he thinks about it.

So in a rematch, Conor could get over that by not quitting the same way, even if he loses again. A Khabib win could still help Conor get over the first fight so long as Conor gives a better account of himself. Kind of like Royce vs Ken 2 where Ken's objective was to redeem himself in his own mind rather than win, because the initial loss to Royce bothered him so much.

By denying Conor the rematch, Khabib is denying him closure and making him live with the fact that he looked for a way out, which is massive when we're talking about a guy whose best weapon is his portrayal of confidence. Now Conor is living with the "Shoulda/coulda/woulda" mindset. Even getting dominated again would give him some closure from that.

All I'm saying is that it's odd how Khabib and the rat keep talking about how Conor's not getting a rematch. It's like they're desperate for excuses to not fight him, should he get by Tony of course. Never heard a champ talk so much about a prospective fight he's refusing to engage in. I'm not saying Conor will beat Khabib in a rematch, but Khabib knows a loss with be such a blow to his narcissism, that I'd be concerned about him harming himself if it happens.
