Khabib will rule the LW for years. Mark my words. Fighters will be migrating to other divisions tired of him.

He's got the potential. If he joins Duane Ludwig he might as well do it. Until he gets some better striking he aint gonna rule anything. LW is a division with a very scary top 5 right now for a guy that lack in so much in the striking department.

I dunno. I was not that impressed with his striking against Pat Healy. There are a few fighters in the top of the division who can force him to stand and play striking with them. And they are all significantly better then him in that aspect imho.

Most that prescribe to a faith are not staunch communists as in the traditional sense communism requires the follower to be dedicated to the state and not a religion.

I agree. Duane Ludwig though takes grapplers and make their striking so good, that they dominate striking specialists in a striking match. He takes them to a different universe. Its the full package. Whereas Nurmagomedov seems to be using his striking only to set up those TD's.

I dunno, it might turn out that I'm wrong. For now though, I'm not sold at all

BenDo and Thompson have already been mentioned.

I think BenDo in particular will make an example out of him.

His hype reminds me of Erick Silva.

even though this might be true striking is not the only aspect of the game. it's how you can combine everything and khabib is pretty good at the game sooo... we'll just have to wait and see

Come on, Nurmy has dominated every single opponent he has faced in the UFC except Tibau. His latest fight was against #5 ranked Dos Anjos and he made Dos Anjos look like shit. Nurmy is the real deal because he has beaten top 10 guys unlike Erick Silva.

Pettis, however, has high level grappling too.

He's very dangerous off his back but that's about it.

Can't do much when he's pressed against the cage (was 1 judge's decision away from losing to Jeremy Stephens by wall n' stall), is mediocre at stopping takedowns, and only occasionally catches his opponent in a submission when he's losing points on the ground.

I don't know man. I would say that Melendez would probably be the biggest challenge out of those 3. Bendo got dominated on the ground badly by Thompson and Khabib is a better grappler than Josh. Thompson and Khabib don't want to fight each other except for the title but if they fight i would pick Khabib by UD all day.
