Ehhhh.... nah. I'm a big MM fan but that's a newer and weaker division. LW and WW have been the deepest divisions for awhile. That's just the weight range most adult men are going to fall into.

Khabib does have a slightly overrated resume imo, but I'd still rank him above anyone at fly or bantam.

I Hate P4P so much, its the most stupid dumb thing everrrrrrrrrrr in UFC. p4p comes from very old boxing, around the 1940's and it was not meant to be a serious thing, it was a joke thing, because there was a small boxer who was doing well and the guy joked on commentary there should be a p4p because he cant face or beat the much heavier guys.

Its such a stupid concept, and was not meant to be serious in the first place. p4p is so dumb. The best fighter is the guy who can beat all the others.. Conor should not even be in the top 10, he doesn't even fight. And also LOL at having Amanda on there, there is about 370 male fighters on UFC roster so she should be ranked 371 because they would all put her in a coma.

Majority of WW and all of MW and up beats Khabib. Does that mean Khabib also shouldnt be ranked?

If Khabib beats Dustin, Tony and GSP then retires, GOAT discussion is put on ice.

RDA almost became interim champ at WW. Khabib would do fine.

But as far as your question hell no. THERE SHOULD BE NO POUND FOR POUND RANKINGS. How hard is that to understand?

"majority of WW beats Khabib" lmao just stfu. A guy that Khabib mauled during the best streak in his life (RDA) is top 3 at WW and only lost to the champs.

He would also beat bum MWs who made the top 10 like Theodorou.

This is true but it really doesn't help that the HW division is complete and utter garbage nowadays. Easily the least skilled fighters on the roster. It may be prestigious, but the talent pool is abominable.

How when Jon's resume just keeps growing? It's gotten to the point where Jon's next 5 or so opponents will be Corey Andersen and 4 MWs that moved up (Santos, Rockhold, Weidman and hell Smith if he keeps winning will get another crack).

You can take size and teach it skill.

You can't take skill and teach it size.

Personally, imo, skill takes a backseat to effectiveness. Just because something isn't flashy, have perfect technique or looks pretty doesn't mean it's not effective.

The HW, because of other sports, get there talent pools depleted. Doesn't mean Ngannou wouldn't knock out Whittaker.

I would have gone a different tack.

It is simply harder to move 260lbs than it is 160.

Gymnasts are small. Dancers are small. Runners are small. Ninja Warriors are small.

When it comes to this, we are prone to say, “Imagine if that little guy could hit as hard as that big guy. It’s only size that’s making it impossible for him to do so.”

Few people say, “Imagine if that big guy had to carry around 100 less pounds, imagine his cardio and movement and speed! It’s only size holding him back.”

    I say this as a 5’10, 175lb guy....
Who knows exactly what it’s like to box, wrestle and play rugby against the big fucks.

Dillashaw said he never felt better for a fight in his whole life and kept saying that over and over agin after the fight, plus he was on steroids. How else do you wanna discredit Triple C?
