News Khabib: I consider Gaethje as my next opponent

Ali manages both Gaethje and Khabib. He will make sure his guy gets paid. I do not see Khabib letting Conor skip the line if he beats Cerrone, and Khabib beats Ferguson. He is a man of his word. More likely Masvidal faces Conor for the BMF title at 170.

3 first round KOs and Barboza as well as Cowboy were always great fighters. Most doubted Justin against Vick.

He had already earned the title shot before siver. Siver was a showcase fight. A risky one if he wasn’t good. His road to a title shot against Aldo was no easier than Aldo’s other challengers.

Even though I would like to see Khabib vs McGregor in a soccer stadium in Russia, I don't think Khabib will give it to him after WW hype fights.

Denis was Conors 5th fight in the ufc. After that he fought Mendes before getting Aldo. Say whatever you want about what happened after that, but he had an incredible run before getting the FW title fight.

Yeah and coming back to fight journeyman cowboy, he was hand picked the biggest betting line favorite was Conor by first round stoppage, I knew it, everyone else knew it, UFC knew it, that was the most hand picked fight recenly and he want a title shot after that ? Gtfo

Haha I knew he would rather quit the entire sport than ever risk his 0 against Conor 2.0. He is petrified and affraid of a smack and if you´re affraid of a smack a smack from Conor 2.0 will feel like a double barret shotgun.
He better look over his shoulder because if Conor 2.0 sees him at street without any cages to exploit he would be fucked.

I wonder if Khabib is the worst champion in the history of UFC, fighting once a year tops and hand picking opponents. Hopefully they cut him nobody wants to see him hug legs an exploit cage for 25 mins anyways.

You are right that it was handpicked, but why is that a problem? It’s was a tuneup fight.

I also don’t hear people talking about how Justin got an easy fight when he beat Cowboy only 4 months before Conor did.

cutting weight is for suckers. just warm the couch, fire up that twitter account, get yourself arrested, and then when youre ready to give your balls a tug and fight somebody more competitive than a drunk helpless old man sitting on a barstool, go fight at 170 against an unranked welterweight and bring in uncle dana some money from your army of casual fans. maybe even have some sexual charges thrown at you on the side because any publicity is good publicity. if all that hard work still isnt enough to grant you your rightful 155 pound title shot,. just go 1-1 against a diaz brother at 170. if all else fails, perhaps you could convince Dana to create a title for you and have The Rock bring it out in order to further cement your legitimacy as a world class champion.

khabib clearly fears the thought of pushing conors shit in some more. once more, conor might get humilated and embarassed enough to announcing his retirement again, and his fanboys would have to dig deep into their bag of excuses to come up with something they havent already thought of before

shame on khabib for trying to tarnish the reputation of the sport and the integrity of the weight division by actually competing against the other best fighters at 155 who actively compete when instead he should be taking circus fights against undeserved fighters who cant even make any effort to make the weight like everybody else is required to, and does all of their competing on twitter. conor is living in khabib's head rent-free, and i'm sure khabib has nightmares over what would surely happen if he ever were to step into the cage against conor mcgregor.

You don't get title shots specially rematches after getting destroyed coming off a turn up fight. Conor hasn't won a fight at 155 since 2016 his 1 - 1 at lightweight how is that deserving of a title shot at 155.

As far as I know Conor isn’t getting a title fight. Khabib himself is saying that Justin is next so there is no reason to complain.

I do want to say though that there have been fighters that have gotten even more undeserving title shots. Frankie got one after losing twice, Aldo is about to get one after losing his fight, and Stipe got one after sitting out for a year and complaining the whole time.
