Don't get me wrong, Dustin is NOT that guy. But I just wanted to point out to Beeb's rabid fanbase that he has not had to face anybody remotely considered an elite wrestler. He had Pat Healy and Trujillo, but Healy is a journeyman grinder at best, and Trujillo never was able to really utilize his talents in the octagon. And both those fights were 6 years ago. For whatever reason, the lw top 15 is fairly devoid of high level wrestlers, which is weird when you consider that every other division has tons of them. Suffice it to say, I think there's a damn good reason he's avoided WW and is shooting down any talk of moving. Good luck enacting his gameplan against the vicious grapplers there.

And you obviously missed the point. He's pulling a UFC 1, and showing that a dedicated and skilled grappler beats strikers. For whatever reason, the majority of LW elite are strikers.

The only elite mma wrestlers at LW other than Khabib are Gillespie and Makhachev, safe to say he won't be facing Islam and Gillespie has never beat anybody in the top 30.

A) Elite grapplers actually exist.
B) never said he was unproven. He's very obviously a beast. Just that im not 100% sold until he beats an elite wrestler

There isn't one. My point is, it's extremely hard to view khabib as this unstoppable grappler that many on here view him as without seeing him enact it against another highly talented wrestler.

I was actually interested to see Kevin Lee vs. Khabib before KL got into WW. Idk know if Lee is an "elite wrestler" but his background could've given Khabib problems.

Tony Ferguson seems like a bad matchup for Khabib bec. of his wrestling and everything else.
