Khabib had the worst pre-fight week in UFC history and people are surprised he was a little off?

He had three different opponents in one week, got into a fight at his hotel, got his bus attacked by the IRA, his father isn’t allowed in the United States to coach and support him...and instead of hearing praise for him for still taking this fight to save the card, 1/2 of Sherbros complain that he looked like shit and say he would supposedly get beat by everyone in the 155 and 145 division. I’m not even a Khabib fan, but damn, give the guy a break.

And he could’ve obviously fucked up AI way more than he did, but he was greatful and felt bad and so he kept it standing the last three rounds, something he would never do in any other circumstance.

He also had a lot to lose against Al. Just like DC in the Anderson fight, he just fucked with him, and went easy.

So "a little off" is having the most dominate 5 round fight in UFC history. What was he supposed to do? Walk on water?

I agree with half of this. He definitely had a lot to lose. Any fight Conor had, he's never had to put anything on the line. Any title fight was for him to gain everything and nothing to lose. He showed up to the Nate fight parading his belt around that had nothing to do with the fight. Khabib could've pulled out of the card after Tony pulled out, but he was there to fight anyone. Respect.

Khabib is the champ so everyone will start hating on him now. It's just how it works on Sherdog (Cormier, Holm, Woodley, etc).

50-43.

Fiddy to forty tree. Just think about that for a moment..

Khabib was just coasting standing waiting for Al to commit to some punches, which he never did because he was totally focused on defending takedowns. I wonder who could stand their ground like Al but take risks with it.

This. Khabib's the champ, and I'm happy. He beats Tony, Conor, etc.
