He says top priority is rehydration. He drinks nearly 2 gallons of water on the same day (immediately after) official weigh-in.
Keeps the food on the lighter side - Rice, fish & chicken. Says he stops consuming anything 3 hours out from the fight.
I wonder how common this routine is among the Elite.
We know someone like Black Beast is chowing down BBQed ribs before the fight, as he's dicussed this. lol
I would imagine eating heavy stuff or junk food of any kind could be disastrous, in terms of stomach issues and possible blood sugar crash.
Always think of how much these guys sacrifice to make weight, but I hadn't really thought about even afterwards, what type of nutrition would be optimal for sustained energy in the actual fight.
