Could khabib get out of Oliveria's 1 of a kind guillotine?
Will be hilarious if he gets McTapper with it
He definitely loves it

OH THE INHUMANITY!
old bald fat goof...
For his sake I hope that's a sarcastic comment.
As far as I'm concerned, so far, a bjj bb under Tim is still worth just as much as a surprise gift in a Kinder egg. It's cool to brag in school but, It won't win you fights.
I think it was closer than a lot of people want to admit. You can see it in Khabib's face he was worried about it when he kept having to adjust. He first few attempts didn't work and he had to stop moving for a bit because it was tight and he was trying to save his oxygen levels and not accidentally move to make it even tighter.
He does usually but this one was close and it was pretty tight. If he was able to get his right leg over who knows what would've happened.
I didn't see any worry in his face nor the people in his corner. He may have been losing oxygen levels, but he knew what he was doing, it's risk vs reward scenario, only with Khabib's understanding of grappling, the risk was low while the reward was great (Dustin burnt his arms out, and he looked defeated after it didnt work). Also, as soon as Khabib got out of it, he didn't even need a second to catch his breath or anything, he just went 0-100.
A similar example is like squatting 70% of your max squat. It's not gonna be easy and you will have to use proper technique to not get injured, but you know you'll be able to do it. The guillotine was on Khabib, but he knew what he was doing due to his vast knowledge on grappling. Khabib sometimes shoots in a way where he leaves his neck open, but I believe it's on purpose as he knows his opponents are tired and will completely drain themselves failing to submit him.
i disagree. i just watched it again yesterday. At best, Dustin had a weak half guard with one butterfly. Khabib was onto that butterfly immediately, there was no real threat of closing the guard. Khabib then easily moved to half guard and side mount, and was 100% mobile in that position. The whole sequence was like 20 seconds long only.
watch it again just now with no commentary and see what i mean
I just watched it again and it was pretty tight. He had the guillotine under the chin from the start, the only thing saving him was Khabib controlling Dustin's right leg but it can be finished from that position as well. Khabib adjusted a lot, he went for 3 different escapes and at the very end when he flattened himself out and laid on his side was when he was able to get out when he finally tried to pull out again and Dustin couldn't keep the grip when trying to adjust again. 20 seconds is a long time with minimal oxygen especially with Dustin catching it under Khabib's chin from the start. That was a close submission, most people would've got stuck there and forced to tap. Not many fighters are doing 3 different escapes and adjustments to escape submissions.
Yes I agree his grappling comfort level and knowledge is what got him out of that where most fighters may have got stuck and forced to tap. The guillotine was under the chin from the start and it was a prolonged submission attempt so it definitely affected Khabib's oxygen levels. He did attempt 3 different escape attempts/adjustments so I wouldn't call it easy for him to escape, he definitely struggled with the first 2 attempts to escape it.
I'm a man of science(experiment)
when something fails 100% of the time out of many, and it fails again... it probably was supposed to fail.
Dustin needs to revaluate that part of his grappling game... it's quite embaressing... khabib's coaches in the video were literally calling it... watch it.. I'd be embaressed if I was dustin there.
I have watched it and it was close. It took Edison how many times for the light bulb?
