Oh the entitlement.

I mean, there's a weird agenda. Will they? Yes. To they hardly sign them and kinda intentionally avoid signing top talent from that region? Yes. You dumb fucks need gim to say this ro ask the question? Ive been telling you for years. They avoid Russian talent be it the Caucasus or not for the most part but sign tons of Latin American, US, UK, Brazilian etc cans. They have demographics they care about and ones they intentionally avoid. Poland doesnt get a lot of love either and Central Asia talent is avoided a lot as well. Boxing isnt a ton different.
yes at least 30 imo but if you're going to include Chechnya/kazak/uzbek etc the answer is closer to 100 if talent was the only factor. fighters from Dagestan are now competing in western mma orgs in Spain/france/germany.austria/belgium etc and doing extremely well.I was surprised to learn that UFC only has about 8-10.
Could they probably have about 50 based on talent? Yeah, but who wants to see that shit?
Wow that Eurasian fighter really did well against that other Eurasian fighter lolIt's obviously true. They have the best fighters and they all have the same name and beard.
Promoter's are limiting their marketshare by having all Dag champs. They want to expand in all countries and Russia is not really a market outside of what Abu Dhabi took.
Wow that Caucacus fighter really did well against that other Caucacus fighter lol
I accept this may be plausible in MMA but what Caucasian fighters are being avoided in boxing? It seems like boxing loves their Eastern European talent.
Its been a problem in boxing too. Guys like GGG and Janibek, Jalolov etc. Entire careers fucked over being ducked, not paid or supported. More are getting their shine now thanks to the Saudis but its historically a problem. As was South East Asians in pro boxing like Chris John, Khaosai etc. US promoters would offer them peanuts, they'd fill stadiums in their countries. Pussy US and Latin American boxers would not travel over there even to fight for world titles so their entire careers got frozen out in some ways. It is what it is, it's a business. If Russians and Central Asians got the same push in boxing as Latinos, Americans and Brits they'd obviously hold more titles...they aren't as valuable.
They wont even get Visas into Czech or Poland, etc...for very logical reasons (even tho some still dont get it.). + Oktagon in past (pre2022) tried to sign Russians, for example they tried atleast twice schedule Vemola vs Ragozin... both times failure.I think he was targeting non-WADA promotions KSW and Oktagon
Promotions that do PED tests have plenty of Dagestanis (UFC, PFL, French promotions)
lol outside of Umar all these guys have had to put together long wins streaks to get title shots. O’Malley just got an immediate rematch with Merab despite getting handled in the first fight, that’s what I would call privilege. The most priveleged, overly represented group acting like they're the biggest victims.

There's just no way you can have a conversation about the most priviledged people in the sport without mentioning the long list of outspoken American fighters that have received opportunities they didn't deserve. Such as O'Malley, Colby, Chandler, Strickland, Masvidal, Nate etc.Please. They get to duck eachother cuz religionbrada, they get privelege because one of the biggest investors have a religious and commercial interest in them.
They also get their biggest company man in DC constantly shiling for them, and also on sherdog one of the most prolific posters HJJ shills for them.

Who other than Khabib has said this? Is he now the spokesperson for the whole area?Which one other than Nate acts like a victim like these neckbeard princesses? That's the main point here. Khabib left them a legacy of privelege and all they do in the meantime is complain.
I could believe that. Although I’m sure there is untapped talent in Dagestan, I don’t think the UFC wants to over saturate their roster with any nationality that isn’t part of their core MMA fan base.
