He already sold 350k against a last minute replacement in Iaquinta. Now that casuals know who he is and how he dominated Conor he will do even more. This is just you projecting your dislike of Khabib. Most people don't agree with you.

Conor vs khabib did 2.4 million PPV. As you said Khabib vs Laquinta did 350k. And that was with people knowing Khabib would have to fight McGregor next. I am not hating on Khabib, he is probably one of the best fighters that ever lived, it is just simple facts : His fighting style is boring - he is an aggressive blanket, and that is not what casuals like to see. His personality is uninteresting, if not directly off putting for people who are not muslims. He is a hypocrite. The ONLY reason for non muslims to like him is for his fighting style, he has no other positive traits.

But time will tell. I expect Khabibs next PPV to sell ok because he still has some McGregor starpower stuck to him, but after that, people will lose interest in him.
