Wtf. Tony doesn't want to fight Khabib. Khabib doesn't want to fight Aldo. Aldo wants to fight anyone. Now people are saying Nate is being offered a fight with Khabib.


This is crazy.

Max called Aldo out and tried to make fun of him for pulling out of fights, and implied that Aldo's scared to fight him.

Aldo accepted it. Max then ate his words and turned it down.

Max Holiday is the one who chose to go to Disneyland instead of fight for the world title.
 
TBH I just think the UFC is playing everyone off each other and telling them different things.

True, but the UFC would easily replace him in a heartbeat if they could make Khabib fight anyone else for the interim belt.
He isn't playing anymore games with the UFC. He wants the interim title, and the best match up for him outside of Diaz is Tony.
Nate knows if he waits long enough he gets Conor no matter what, because he's an easier matchup than Aldo/Khabib and he's a bigger draw than Tony. Eventually McGregor will be forced to find a matchup he doesn't like or... fight Diaz again. He'll pick Diaz. Aldo doesn't give a fuck who he fights, he just wants to force Conor to rematch him.
 
I think the safest bet is that the UFC is fanning the flames of rumors in order to pressure Tony into signing. AKA they are pulling a "Khabib" on Tony.

Giving Aldo an interim title fight at LW is easily among the most senseless things the UFC has ever done, and that's saying a lot. Giving Nate an interim shot makes a little bit more sense, but still pretty insane.

At the end of the day I think Tony will sign and we'll get the right, best fight.

Ferguson is terrible for him. You don't know what you are talking about. The size difference would be huge and Ferguson is no Nate when it comes to defending leg kicks. Ferguson just beat a bigger version of him in RDA.

He would wreck and the fight would be not even close.

Correction to your post. He does he just didn't realize 208 was only 7 week after he just fought.
Anyway it doesn't matter. Max has the interim title. If Aldo fights 145 again it is going to be against Max.

That's because Aldo has had months off. 208 is 7 weeks after Max's last fight. It's perfectly reasonable to push it out another month so Max and heal up and have a full camp.
