This situation is actually known throughout the MMA community of fighters and trainers in the SF Bay Area/Nor*Cal area.. many had hinted about when it happened through social media, and it was the talk for awhile in gyms. But I will say, there are two sides to every story. While Khabib's father has his version, and is no bullshitter, there is also a version from the Diaz side. Regardless, there has been animosity between the two camps for awhile, but the two sides know how to keep the media and gossip forums out of it for the most part.

Lol Khabib's dad is basically the mma godfather of Dagestan, nearly every ufc fighter from Chechnya/Dagestan and even some Russians grew up being trained by him. I think he has slightly more credibility than a soccer mom.
