The style match up suits him well, so he pretty much just needs to do what he always does. That said, if Max can stuff the takedowns, then Frankie better adapt and do his best to make Max respect his striking and then try different entries on his takedowns. He needs relentless pressure, but not recklessness; He needs to earn Max's respect in at least one domain—grappling or striking—in order to get the other domain working.
In the striking department, Max's lead leg is there to be kicked all day, I know frankie isn't the hardest leg kicker, but even so, 10-20 or even more leg kicks from anyone will slow someone down a bit.
It's going to be interesting to see who pressures who in this fight.
