1) Having his hands up because his chin isn't THAT good as we all saw.
2) Less power-punching
3) A lot more leg kicks
4) Less Capoeira-Wheel Kick sh*t even though they are very entertaining to watch
5) Less ego in the fight
6) No short-notice weight gaining
7) More punches/kicks to the body - Diaz has a very good chin so the easier way to hurt him is to attack his 'soft body' - Liver kicks for example.
8) More jabs

After watching the fight again i noticed that Conor was doing very well in the first round, but he made himself gas by throwing those bombs / stupid wheel kicks that didn't even land. That is the biggest reason that he gassed but the reason why he ultimately lost was his overgrown ego. Guy did not put his hands up even when he was getting rocked, he was basically standing in front of Nate begging to get knocked out. I don't understand what the f*ck he was doing and i will never understand it. (Still butthurt because i lost possible easy 500$ win because of him)

I believe that Conor is the superior fighter and i also believe that if the fight had went to the ground with Conor having a lot of stamina left he wouldn't had gotten caught in a submission. People say that he sucks at the ground but i disagree with the majority of people.

Biggest thing you left off was the jab.

McGregor's failure to use the jab not only allowed Nate to stay comfortable and only look to avoid a huge left hand, but it prevented mcgregor from gauging the distance properly. As we saw, his lack of distance management caused his left hand to fall short and over extend countless times.

lol why do people think he can just add leg kicks? He has a super wide karate stance, he can't just magically add good leg kicks without changing his entire stance. He tried and got taken down.

Honestly he's gonna have a hard time beating Nate anytime soon because Nates just a much better fighter. All Conor has is a giant left hand with big power, if that doesn't work he ain't got shit.

1) Don't fight Nate
2) Bring a weapon
3) Hire someone to bust his leg with a pipe before the match Tonya Harding-style
4) Get the UFC to fix the fight
5) Don't fight Nate

He could TKO Nate with body shots with ease.

No need for a rematch ever again. Nate is just better than Conor everywhere and every day.

1. Pace yourself
2. More leg kick (you fight a diaz dummy, they give you that front leg)
3. Don't go to the f*cking ground .

50/50 fight

He took Mendes shots and Mendes was the first to ever KO Guida, a thing that no LW fighter could do. His chin is good. He was gassed when he got hurt by Nate, anyone can get hurt when they are tired.

Less spinning shit, more kicks to the body. Spinning kicks to the body, not the ones he did against Mendes because Nate will catch it.

I agree with the rest. If Conor ever fights Nate again, he should bring his style when he fought Holloway back. Lots of jumping kicks to set up to his left, not rely on his left, lots of footwork, trying to hit and not be hit.

Conor fans are getting more desperate by the day. Have you all even left your basement yet?

Are you so retarded you just think all tall LWs are the same? Like, Cerrone is susceptible to body shots, Diaz must be too!

Diaz has never been finished by body shots and I don't even remember him being significantly hurt by any either.

1) Having his hands up because his chin isn't THAT good as we all saw. This would have helped for a little while, but he had to open up sometime, and when he did Diaz would land it all the same.
2) Less power-punching - This is the only thing that kept Diaz off him in the first place. Without heavy shots Diaz swarms him early and punches he gas out of him even faster
3) A lot more leg kicks - As someone else stated his stance doesn't really work for that. Conor with a straight up boxing stance gets worked over hard by Diaz.
4) Less Capoeira-Wheel Kick sh*t even though they are very entertaining to watch - I agree this helps, but not much. He doesn't throw them with the intention of landing as much as he does with the intention of controlling distance and keeping his opponent guessing.
5) Less ego in the fight - His ego in the fight was far less damaging than his ego in picking Diaz in the first place, and then throwing 170lbs out there was.
6) No short-notice weight gaining - He didn't gain much of anything. The time between his fight with Aldo and the announcement of his fight with RDA was like 3 weeks. He didn't have time to put on any significant amount of weight, MAYBE 3lbs of mass that isn't fat, or water.
7) More punches/kicks to the body - Diaz has a very good chin so the easier way to hurt him is to attack his 'soft body' - Liver kicks for example. - Liver kick wasn't open as both guys fight southpaw(I think Diaz switches stances from time to time but I'm pretty sure he mostly fights southpaw). Not to mention Diaz caught the last rounhouse type kick Conor threw in the first round, and took him down off of it. Attacking the body may have been a good idea, but how long could he keep that up?
8) More jabs - Probably the only thing Conor could have done to save himself for a bit, but Conor's jab is nothing special. Not to mention Diaz has a better jab than Conor, and he follows it up with that left straight.

Simply put, Conor doesn't have the tools outside of a quick knockout to beat Diaz. No matter how he wants to play it he ends up getting worked down, and either knocked out, or submitted.

The only keys that would help him are the keys to his car.
Get in, and don't stop driving!!!

50/50 fight

Conor's wide side stance is telegraph city for leg kicks. Look what happened when he threw the roundhouse to the body, Nate caught it and dragged him down to the ground.

Pacing himself only lets Diaz build his momentum up and start swarming on him.
