That's borderline fighter bashing. A prime Randleman would likely shit on any version of Tito's wrestling.

Did Randleman fully recover from that nasty staph infection he got? I really don't know if a hole in your body that big does ever fully heal.

Yeah, except for no. the cool thing to do these days is call Tito out. Great fight for Tito, I hope they make it. Randleman can make some cash, and I can say I told you so after the fight happens. Win win.

First of all, LOL at the wrestling part. second of all, I've seen many Randleman's fights, mostly in his "prime" or pro wrassling(Pride), he is no where near Tito's level at any point in his career. Even his highlight videos are subpar to watch other than suplexing Fedor and KO Cro Cop.
I'll admit he is definitely the most athletically gifted heavyweight in MMA history.

Tito pretty much would always beat Randleman, and I don't understand why people doubt that. I'm not even a Tito fan, but the guy deserves credit for his grappling off his back. Despite being from Hammer House, Randleman never had much of a top game , and he was very much in trouble if he was the one put on his back. Tito could sub him off his back or could someone gain top position and ground and pound Randleman.

I think the Randle in his prime, would've beat the shit out of Tito, maybe even today!

I just wanna see Tito get knocked out.

Look up Kevin Randleman's record. Do you really believe that Tito Ortiz would lose to guys like Baga Agaev, Mike Whitehead, Stanislov Nedkov, Kazuhiro Nakamura, or Ron Waterman. Tito would beat Randleman easily, since Tito actually had the skills to finish on the ground. He knew submissions, which Randleman got caught in fairly frequently.

The problem with admitting that is the fact that Tito's wrestling is pretty much based totally on athletic traits. I can't remember a time he outwrestled anyone he wasn't noticeably bigger or younger than. Randleman's shot was fucking crazy and he could zip right across half a damn ring. I don't think Tito could stop that, and if he couldn't then he would probably lose.
Which version of Tito are we talking about, the one that had a nice triangle on Machida or prime Tito during his title reign? I can't say for sure whether or not he showed any guard game in the early days as I haven't seen a ton of those fights, but if I'm not mistaken then he'd just be as fucked as Randleman on his back. Randleman also did a pretty good job avoiding armbars from the bottom in the Rutten fight, although they were fairly sloppy (no disrespect intended to Bas, just trying to keep it real). He did manage to pass Rutten's guard, although it was off of a mistake (i.e. aforementioned sloppy armbars)

Tito was definitely better at submissions but not necessarily from his back, at least at that point in his career. Like 2000-2002
