Why cant we have a flat tax percentage across the board
Have you ever heard any of his ideas? Not sure who is more out of touch with reality. Him or Warren
Yeah, and I agree with all of them.
No problem here, I fully expect a fighter from a democrat destroyed city to know zero about economic ideologies.
Absolutely perfect shit there by Lee, fucking beautiful. Hype train derailed.
Atleast he isn't supporting Hillary.
You misspelled dump.
That'll do commie, that'll do.
Draw a flat horizontal line in a box in your mind. That's a flat tax. Now draw a line bisecting it at the half way point going 45 degrees from bottom to top. That's a progressive tax.
Flat tax is regressive. It punishes the poorest the most and has the least impact on the most wealthy. It's why conservative think tanks push it every day like it's X-Mas. Even with a progressive tax you can end up with a system, that you have now, where the most wealthy pay nothing. In fact they get paid. See the ship owner family, Irving, in Canada out East. They run a province, the size of one of your states, like their personal fiefdom and the federal government lets them do it. Most of that family hasn't paid a penny in taxes since the 70s when they off-shored their wealth. They were one of the first billionaire families to do so.
Bernie Sanders before: "Millionaires and Billionaires are evil!!!"
Bernie Sanders now that he's a millionaire: "Billionaires are evil!"
Bernie Sanders before: "Venezuelans are living the American Dream better than Americans"
Bernie Sanders now that Venezuela is Socialist nightmare: "Hey look! Sweden!!"
The wealthy buy more expensive items, so it tends to even out. So when a "poor" person buys a 15k Chevy with 1% flat tax, $150 is collected. Then a wealthy person buys a 400k Rolls Royce, $4000 is collected. That's the equivalent 27 poor people buying cars with the flat tax. Not to mention the "luxury tax" the wealthy already pay on these expensive items, so even more tax is collected.
I don’t get it...so whose side is he on?
this thread is exactly what he wanted LOL
politics really is the trigger button
It's a big deal that an underdog from Detroit destroyed a 13-0 undefeated Trump supporter with Trump in attendance and that night felt "BERNIE SANDERS YOU BASTARDS" was the most poignant remark he could make.
People are learning to put respect on that name.
Weight difference is huge. Gillespie dun goofed.
Lately the heavies has been a lit like the war room with just a little extra CTE.
ITT: dumbass lower middle class imbeciles argue against their own best interests and for the interests of billionaires who couldn't give a fuck about them.
What a stupid, hateful thing to say. Sanders is a good man, and a real patriot, unlike your fraud of a president.
There's maybe 500 of those RRs sold per year. There's tens of thousands of vehicles of a single model sold per year to the general public. You are talking about consumption. There is no comparison between how much 360 million people consume compared to that of a few million at most and you would really need to stretch the concept of wealth to measure those people in the millions.
Most millionaires don't buy RRs because they can't afford them and because they are typically notoriously cheap. Same goes for billionaires. Some will own a huge boat or a plane or two along with a palace or two but no amount of that consumption in the casino economy (Wall Street) where most of their wealth is tied up compares to the real economy where goods and services are actually exchanged.
They also buy more expensive food. More expensive houses. More expensive everything. It DOES even out more than you think.
Unless you think those rich people are then going to buy Toyotas and cans of chili for food to avoid paying higher taxes if the flat tax is implemented.
Yeah, because ending up like Venezuela is in everyone's "best interests"
And before you bring up Sweden or the Scandinavian countries, no, they're not Socialist countries.
Separate names with a comma.
