Same. Ive always thought Kevin belonged at 170 as well. Think Kevins going to surprise alot of people with how much better he looks there. He wont get out wrestled as easily at 170 and have a big reach advantage which will serve his creative striking well.

I am expecting him to enter the top 10 at 170 quite easily

The dude doesn’t have a lot of extra weight to cut from. I don’t know if this is going to be as beneficial to him as he thinks it is.
His problems are less weight issues and more skill related.

Magny has one of the best resumes in regards of name. Dude caught a bunch of legends at the end of their careers or in the perfect moment:
    Lombard
    Gastelum
    Hendricks
    Condit
    Lawler

Should give him an angle advantage on the ground = strength.
6'3 welterweight then, same advantage 6'4 Adesanya uses as his tdd

Considering Till made it to a championship fight without having to face any wrestler, I think Holland can get favourable enough match making to at least make it into the rankings

It' a good idea for Holland. He likely won't make it to the top of the division at MW. He's already beaten Geoff Neal in the past, and I think he could do well against some top WW's like Belal and Brady.

I think making the cut to WW won't be a big problem for him, he's already a light MW and his FN weight is around the same as most WW's.

Even before the fights were made, I had picked most of those guys to actually beat him. His style of beating them up in the clinch and engaging in brawls when they themselves are too tired to keep up has served him well.

True. Again, he won't last long either if he's fighting like how he has been, but you are right.

No way dude he's tall as fuck and he's pretty young so he's gonna fill out his frame even more. The cutting will become harder and harder and more unhealthy.

Honestly I'm sick of the whole when a fighter loses he just convinces himself the answer is a lower weight class. Dan Hooker going back to 145 at this point is his career is retarded. This is as well imo.

Good move for him, I always thought he'd be better off at WW. there's a lot he can do there. maybe fight with someone like Ponzinibbo to get things started

If he really is only 190 out of camp, the cut should be easy for him. Could help with the grappling too, but he'd still need some TDD to face the elite guys.

The guys weighed in at 182 and 183 like five times in the UFC and fought at WW like ten times. I don't get all the wondering if it's so unhealthy for him. He's barely cutting weight at MW and has said this many times.

    Couldn't hack it at 185 so let's give 170 a try.

I guess Kevin Lee would be a good first fight. Both guys are in bad need of a win.
