There is a horse in the derby called "Assplay"? Oh, wait. Complexity. You put it right there. 54k. I see now. Never mind.

He's not even entered in the race, KC. Haha. A lot of those listed aren't even entered.

I'll take Game Winner at 7/1 all day, Phat. A little something on Vekoma and Tax as well for the value they represent.

OK @Sharkey, do we need to lay some on a "mudder" or two? Supposed to rain tomorrow and has been raining yesterday and today.

Nah, we're fine, Phat. The public overrates that aspect of things anyways. The horses we picked should be close enough to the front anyways, so they should avoid too much mud being kicked back into their faces.

I also put a little something on Improbable as well a day or two ago.

Oh, I see Omaha Beach isn't even an option, now. Were stakes returned on that one, @MiCavalier? I put a million on him (well, I think it was 988,XXX or something) early in the week and then he scratched.

I read a story about the trainer and one of the owners (Omaha Beach), one like 70 and one like 80 years old or something? They had been in the game forever and this was their chance of a lifetime to reap the rewards. A top stable had already struck a deal with them for breeding rights, as well. Crazy.
From the highest of highs to the lowest of lows in a matter of two days or so. Ugh.

I'm not sure. I was making a note for horses that didn't draw, or in this case the favorite was scratched, then I noticed he was removed.

OK. I'm not sure, either. Maybe @kimocomplex knows or can tell if he got his $54,000 (Complexity) back. I can't tell on mine at all because I just noticed. I think not, but...

Oh, hell. Edit to add Complexity is still up.

    Also,...

    IT'S DERBY DAY!!!

I deleted the option for Omaha beach so no one would have to wait for the thread to be settled to get their refund. Stakes were returned

Oh, awesome. Thanks! Actually, I was just thinking it's all good anyway. I think I jumped in late on a couple wagers and never dumped, so...

Wow. I've never seen such a thing and didn't even know it was a thing. On replay, you could see Maximum Security sweep across several lanes, though.

First time ever a DQ of the winner in the derby.

History. And the second longest-shot ever in Country House wins the derby.

Doesn't a DQ return all stakes, aside from that dirty cheat Maximum Security?
    <{vega}>
Hell with it, include Maximum Security on the push. First time a DQ winner in what is it, 145 years?

    Crazy!

    (and push worthy...)
