This isn't the only example and it's not just about the single shots, it's the accumulation that he's able to absorb and keep coming forward.

Look at the Diaz bros for a good example of guys who don't have conventional one shot KO power but can still KO dudes regardless.

His chin is granite. I think in a few years he'll start getting KO'd. It happens to everybody. It's disappointing that he's 1-4 in the past 5. I like watching him fight and he can box but he's not improving and he's very predictable. Whittaker did a very good job mixing it up last night.

This. He has a really good chin but he's been dropped by Rick Story before.

His chin isn't in the same universe as Nog, Hunt, Fujita, Roy, Condit, Pettis, Shogun, Gomi etc.

He took a licking in this fight and against Izzy but his chin hasn't been touched much in the past few years besides those 2 fights. @ WW only a few Tyron shots and Story tested it
 
His chin is great but he’s tanking so much damage it’s gonna catch up to him.

MW isn’t a good weight class for him. He either needs to get bigger or move down. His chin would be beyond elite at WW.

he would wreck fighters like Colby, Burns, Edwards.

Got dropped by Story early in his career when he was cutting a shitload to make 170.

He was eating head kicks that Whittaker has KO'd and seriously hurt a lot of guys with.

He ate a clean flying knee from Heinisch, who is absolutely massive for the division, in his last fight.

Dude's chin is legit ATG level.

He took an ass whoopin last night that’s Forsure. There was a few shots I figured were going to drop him but he kept on.
 
The chin is about all he's got left at this point. Probably all he ever really had
 
The guy just dont get discouraged from attacking at all. He may not have won,but as a fan of his how can you be dissapointed?? The guy comes to fuckin fight,unlike alot of guys who people praise more.

Everyone you listed has been dropped multiple times, even prior to their first KOs.

But sure, use it against Kelvin, who to this day has never been stopped.
 
For now

he might be real hard to understand in a couple years
