this was actually a pretty damn good fight against not a world-class fighter, but a good young prospect in Humberto Soto. In the beginning Kevin was slick and gave the kid hard times landing shots like he usually does, though in the 4th and a bit later Soto found a home for his right-hand. The old veteran had his work cut out for him as it seemed the kid was getting stronger. But then something cool happened. In true Flushing Flash fashion, Kevin started bating the kid into trade-wars and using the one thing that never escapes veterans, power, staggering Soto more than once while never seeming entirely hurt himself as opposed to being off-balance. In the end Kevin finished looking not-soo fatigued and staggering Soto a couple times in the 11th and 12th.
Kevin Kelley wins a UD for a vacant and I think rather meaningless belt, but still it's good to see one 35 year-old win his fight tonight and take a belt home. lol
