When Brook suffered the eye injury and pawed over his right eye with his glove and looked over to the corner, that was a ''I want out of here'' sign, and the corner decided that once he begun taking more punishment they were going to take him out. It's ironic how once Golovkin begun becoming more and more in control the towel came in.

That's how I saw it anyway, not sure how people can claim the corner did a terrible call, it was obvious Brook wanted out of there, Golovkin is a freak of nature, and that was one of his worst performances so far.

Brook wanted to continue. Lucky for him his corner was too smart to let that happen. He fought with a broken face for several rounds. Hopefully he doesn't end up like Margarito with an eye issue effectively ending his career.

Sounds like projecting

Looked more like "something is in my eye shit is blurry " let me rub it

He tapped his foot though! But only once. Everyone knows one foot tap and an eye rub means no mas. Two foot taps, and... well, bring out a stretcher for Golovkin.

I think it was one of those cases where he wanted out, his corner knew he wanted out, so they took the heat off of him by throwing in the towel so he could say "I wanted to continue, I could have gone on", etc. He was visibly fading and I think it was the right choice.

All respect to him, he signed to fight GGG when so many others chose to shamelessly duck him. And he didn't show up for a quick pay day... he came to FIGHT and he came to WIN. So big respect to Brook for stepping up.
