Kell Brook vs Diego Chaves

y'all riding my coat tails, I posted this a couple weeks ago in another thread!

good fight though, chaves is a solid opponent

Chaves is a tough little bastard, will be a decent gauge to where Brook is at.
 
The fight is an ok fight. I mean the fight shouldln't be ridiculed in any way be any means and Chaves is definitely game. I'd of preferred to see Brook vs Provodnikov but I'm certainly not moaning over Brook facing Chaves like some have been, I mean they must be forgetting that even if he wouldln't of fought Chaves he would of fought Chaves anyway as a mandatory challenger if Chaves beat Bizier. If Chaves didn't beat Bizier the mandatorys would of been Lawson or Bizier and those bouts aren't up to much to be honest. As much as this fight isn't a woeful pick you have to still think KB first has a title defence with jo jo dan, then Frankie gavin and now facing a fighter who has been beaten in 3 out of hes last 4 fights. I reckon eddies playing it a bit safe in the hope the Khan PPV comes off, in which Brook would dismantle Khans Jaw and he knows it himself. But, I rate Brook and will say this for him, hes put his name up for bouts with Maidana, Rios, Mayweather, Khan etc etc and none of them have taken the fight, then, to add to it we have Alexander, Bundu, Porter, Khan, Ali and Bradley who all didn't take their final eliminator fights to become mandatory for Kells title, so gotta take the Fights you get i S'pose
 
It's a decent fight

Kell wins but chsves will make interesting

Why Provodnikov of all people? I'd be confident in taking Chaves over Provodnikov. Clearly a more complete fighter and a genuine WW to boot.

I just feel although Provo not a genuine WW at all, it would be a more competitive fight, I just feel Chaves has lost most meaningful fights he has been in and Brook will stop him at some point for sure, if the fight would of been with Bradley I reckon he'd of won it by the skin of his teeth and Bradley would have probably got robbed but with Provo I think he'll have to take some big shots and despite size don;t think he will KO him and would be interesting to see how his mindstate would hold up against someone who will not stop pouring forward for 12rnds
