Kavanagh: Nate is Conor's toughest opponent at 155, says Nate would beat Khabib and Ferguson

Diaz was 8-7 over the previous 6 years before beating MJ.
 
No way Nate beats Khabib. The Tony fight however would be very interesting.

He did look far better against MJ though then he had looked previously. His heart wasn't in it vs RDA etc, not in proper shape.

Look at the success MJ had on the feet vs Khabib and then look at how easily Nate picked MJ apart.

I also think Nate would pose the best threat off his back against Khabib.
 
Nate would pick Ferguson apart, we all know that. The issue is with Khabib whose stand up isn't great but Nate is known to be sloppy and can get taken down, which is an issue.
 
I would love to see Nate vs Ferguson.
 
According to media, as in sherdog, bloody elbow and ESPN... only 3sources I read so far as recommended next match for Connie... They say Nate.

I don't wanna see that again at 155 or 205, how bout tony or bib?

Connies a pioneer and stud, and if it wasn't Connie I'd be saying the same thing... Contenders.
 
I love Nate but Khabib is too tough a match up. The Ferguson fight is give a slight edge to Nate. Ferg is more versatile, powerful, and creative but Nates hands and jits are more fundamentally sound.

MJ convincely won the first round then his cardio gave out.

Ferguson vs Nate is a toss up.

Khabib rapes Diaz.

The current title picture is looking way better for Diaz. Khabib is an animal though. Just a savage

If Nate is his toughest opponent, we can all forget about that fight happening.
I really want to see Khabib and Conor fight. What an amazing stylistic match up that would be. The best ground and pound in the business vs the most electric striking the game has ever seen. I think Conor starches Khabib before he ever gets taken down. It's too bad Conor's people have no interest in what would be a classic MMA battle for the ages.

Nate is good from his back against guys who haven't had much experience with grappling. Look how easily RDA, Ben Henderson, Rory MacDonald and Dong Hyun Kim controlled him, all of these guys know what they are doing and aren't stupid when it comes to grappling. Khabib would pass and destroy Nate. He would take him down effortlessly.
 
LOL. He is saying that because Nate beat Connie. We all saw what Bendo did to Nate. Nate would beat Eddie, but Eddie ducked Kbib and is the smallest LW and is not a real wrestler like Kbib.
 
I can definitely see him beating Furg Gully, but no way is he beating Khabib.
 
Nate might be the toughest guy to deal with for Conor at 155, but we all know that Khabib is the king of LW.

Man, that guy wrestler with Luke on regular training basis, so his grappling skill is way legit than the rest of the rosters.
A healthy Khabib can become the future 2 division champ as he is way too strong for all WW as well ( Except Maia who might beat Khabib)


Besides that.............what happen to Luke?!??!?!??! Dating > Fighting?!?!??! What a shame.
