Kavanagh keeps talking about a new "system" for Conor

His training at the boxing club and some of footage of him hitting pads might suggest he’s going to fight out of something closer to a boxing stance with his hands up than the karate stance he’s fought out of before. Course if you do fight with your hands that high then you leave yourself open to takedowns...

Irish edmound doesn't have, and never had any system. Just another broke bum trying sell some shit.

He's gone back to training with his former boxing coach. Probably more economical in how and when he moves, etc.

He' gone to the mountains to train with Ra's Al Ghul, and do some of those crazy psychedelic drugs ...He's gonna throw the "ninja smoke bomb", shut off all the lights in the arena and when they come back on Cowboy will be in a heap in the centre of the Octagon.

Can't exactly put my finger on why, but I've always had the vibe that judging by Kavanagh's personality/mannerisms that he was someone he was bullied/picked on a bit as an adolescent, turned to martial arts as a way to defend himself and build confidence.. but unfortunately now he seems to be over-relishing in being a coach of an MMA superstar. Being a bit smug at times.

...just a hunch. Could be wrong.

I think they went from the standard plan to the premium plan on Ido Portal website, unlocking 5 new esoteric movements and a plyometrics DVD.

the irish coach edmund. Probably the worst coach and worst gym in all of mma. All his fighters lose unless they are being fed cans by bellator.
The original Edmund is absolutely a worse coach than Kav is.

But they're both awful

That's just the kind of magical thinking that gave us the worst version of BJ Penn ever. Conor 'bout to get crushed.

The new system is to put on muscle and hope he can KO guys faster before he gasses.

No, you misunderstood what Kav was saying due to lack of knowledge.

He was talking about macro approach Conor had before.

Then went micro, over-preparing and over-analyzing his opponents rather than developing his skills and doing what he does best.

Conor used to be one of the best examples of "the best defense is a good offense". He would just keep up the pressure on guys and either he'll get them himself or they'll eventually panic and he's sitting there waiting for it with the left.

No need to worry about their gameplan if they're the one on defence.
