Kara France vs Askarov Media Scores- Do you agree?

I thought Askarov won the 1st, Kara-France the 2nd, and neither did anything great in the 3rd to really guarantee the victory. It could have went either way and I would have been happy with a draw. I was impressed with Kara-France’s td defence, I thought Askarov’s wrestling would have been too much.

Man I'd have to rewatch but I thought kai stole that fight pretty clearly in 2 and 3. 3 was close but didn't he land some big shots again ??

NO, I dont' agree, but not really mad.

Very close fight because neither fighter did much in round 3. I'm good with the result.

Both guys did little in the third, but Aska's biggest moment was some grappling at the start that he wasn't able to do anything with and saw Kara get free.

Kara's biggest moment was towards the end where he took control of the fight and started landing effective strikes.

Close fight, but It wasn't a hard one to score for Kai.

I posted this question on another thread: How did Kara-France win the third round? I don't get it. What did I miss?

How did Askerov? He landed a nut shot and back take, the striking was pretty even and KKF was the one committing to the fight. Askerov tried to pray for the decision and lost. It cost him a winnable fight with some offence at the end.

He outstruck Askarov

He landed the bigger shots

He defended the takedowns

He came forward
I need to watch that third round again then. All I remember is Askarov with some dominant grappling that I thought would win him the round. Besides that, I don't recall anything of significance.

Didn't Askarov get a take-down and dominate with his grappling, at least for a short time? I thought that Askarov diplayed the only dominance in the round, but I need to watch that third round again, obviously.

He took the back once before Kai got out. It was Askerov's best striking round though, but the back take was early and resulted in no offence before Kai got out. It's really just back take vs forward pressure with everything else being close.. The fight was predominantly on the feet and close so the round goes to the one advancing IMO.

The scoring is primarily based on effective grappling/striking. Kai landed more strikes than Askarov controlled with wrestling in the 3rd. It was close but that was the right call.
