Boxrec has him as 1-6

He got KO'd in 5 of his 6 losses. His 1 win was a majority decision, 1 judge had it a draw.

Is Kaoklai the most successful muay thai fighter to do that bad in boxing?

I know Bruce Macfie is also 1-6 but at least he lost by decision and won his fight by KO...

He is one of the many Thai (boxing) cans brought by Japanese promoters to get koed.
If we keep digging, we will probably find more known muay thai fighters who are in the same situation.

What people normally don't know about Kaoklai is that he is one of the champions from really
weak weight class (above Welterweight) that gamblers do not care about and thus they had to rely
on other revenues like getting KOed by Japanese/ Korean/ Australians.
Lamsongkram is also 0-5 all KOs defeats. http://boxrec.com/boxer/091371

Kaoklai is very special because he managed to find a gimmick in fighting giants, and his fame and career
are basically based on his performance in K-1 2004 GP.

I wonder if they do it because there is more money

Lamsongkram was banned from boxing in japan after losing by ko 5 times in a row, did Kaoklai get the same treatment?
