I admire his optimism.
Oh how quickly they forget.
It would be cool, but nothing will ever top Rumble in the Jungle..... it was a different time when it was easier to get everyone focused on one thing
Nothing could be bigger than the Rumble in the Jungle
It happened 47yrs ago and people still talk about it
I like Usman and generally believe he is one of the more realistic guys around, that said it wouldn't even touch Rumble in the Jungle. Forget hype and spectators, just the importance of that event from a political and cultural perspective will be hard to match. You'd have to liberate Palestine at this point if you really want to compete.
Lol, a stadium at full capacity, 68 000 peoples in the stand.
for a gate of 34 000$
Ali Foreman had over 1 billion live viewers + 26,000,000 from the UK and 60,000 fans watching in the arena.
The event was one of (if the not) biggest fights in combat sports history
Yes this is true, there just so many things to distracted by today. Video games, internet, movies, TV shows, other sports etc..etc.. so many other things to focus on besides a fight event.
That record for the rumble in the jungle will never be broken for a combat sport event. According to google 1 billion people around the world watched that event. Those numbers are virtually unbreakable now.
Snoozeman is a douche
I think he's fucking delusional.
Legit bore people death in 85 percent of his fights. Thinks he can do something better than that.
For the love of god.
usman has to get ko'd by someone
seriously one of the most awesome quotes of all time
Rumble in Nebraska would be huge
what a delusional man
I should probably stay away from whatever the fuck he’s been smoking
It would never be bigger than the original but they could still pull huge crowds if they go to the right country in africa imo.
At least usman is exciting now, i could see him putting on a good show. Its a shame his personality and charisma is on the other end of the spectrum compared to ali.
