FAKE NEWS...
Oh sure... Trump is so scared.
As scared as he was to debate Kamala he wants to debate her three times while she only wants to debate him once.
So scared.

I have to give the Dems credit. Their strategy here is brilliant. Keep Kamala quiet, no in-depth interviews to show her idiocy and lack of mental acuity on real issues. She can't answer questions about the border or inflation so keep it to quick news blurbs with buzz phrases. Then plaster the Olympics with ads where she says she envisions "An America" where women can get abortions in every state freely and people can live off of 1 income. And just let Trump and Vance tweet away and bury themselves. Brilliant strategy imo.
Because she talks too much, she loses. She shuts up and relies on identity politics, she wins.
Yeah, democrats tend to be easily lead by media, but even they would cringe if they had to see more of her.I have to give the Dems credit. Their strategy here is brilliant. The problem with this is having the MSM be her campaign propaganda is a very temporary strategy.
Sooner or later she's going to have to speak, without a teleprompter, in an interview. The longer she waits the more it telegraphs her weakness. It will be a very bad decision to wait until the Sep10th debate where she will have to come up with off-the-cuff answers to Trump's responses and challenges to her answers & record.
And bizarrely, a few political commentators on her own side are questioning why she's not doing any interviews.
Don't think its going to work out like that.
Her silence about important issues and why she's supposedly changed policy positions only just recently (announced by a surrogate) are questions her own supporters are going to want answers to.
This time in 2020, Biden was ahead of Trump in the national polls by 5 to 8 points, and Trump eventually lost the national popular vote by 1 point when you remove the 3rd party votes.
If Kamala is only up by 2-3 points in the polls in the week before the election, her supporters should still be very very nervous.
He's yet to debate her, we'll see him on the agreed-upon date by both parties on September 10th. If DonOld truly wants to do more debates after that then he can reach out to the Harris team and negotiate terms like they did for this upcoming ABC debate.
Aaaand we're back to not caring about polls again.

The funny thing about this is for the past 13 presidential cycles there's been three televised debates.
Different networks.
Different format.
Different subject matter.
All three debates were agreed to before the first one took place. Now Biden/Trump's june debate doesn't count, Kamala only wants to have ONE debate, and you're saying (as if you're her spokesperson) that Trump is going to have to beg Kamala to have more debates after the first one.
Not sure if you have a long memory... actually Paynebringer I know you don't.... but Kamala was quite poor in the 2019 debates when she was pressured by the other candidates for the Democrat primaries. Trump will have many more subjects to rip her on, so we'll see who'll be begging who for more debates.

So trumps been more powerful than your president the entire time ?
The debate looks like the only remaining hurdle to me. Shouldn't be too much trouble and I expect a slew of major endorsements in the Fall.I think the Israel situation is still a pretty big penny in the air. Harris is doing a much better job of messaging on that front than Biden was to be certain, and not picking Shapiro as her running mate might be a signal that she'll move away from Biden's position of giving Netanyahu carte blanche to do whatever the hell he wants, but if Netanyahu starts a war with Iran, that'll put her in a tricky spot.
I also think it's just a matter of time before RFK drops out and endorses Trump. I don't think that'll have a huge impact (and the longer he waits, the less of an impact it'll have), but it'll help Trump a little bit.
It's also possible (though I don't think likely) that she'll have a poor debate performance against Trump. She did well against Pence in 2020, but it's hard to say definitively how she'll do against Trump.
One last nightmare scenario is that she wins, but a few states refuse to certify the results and the election gets kicked up to the Supreme Court. I think this is very unlikely though, and if it happens the US is a failed state and nothing matters anyways, so it's not worthwhile to dwell on it.
That said, yeah, the momentum is definitely in Harris' favor right now, but Dems can't afford to get complacent.
