So work had a raffle for some stuff, and instead of putting my ticket in where everyone else's was for the 40 inch smart TV or the $300 gas card, I dropped mine in to the nutribullet fishbowl where there were maybe 10 others and actually won something :)

So now I have a nutribullet (600 watts, not sure if there's multiple models) what are some good recipes you guys have used? Right now, I need to lose 10 pounds in 30 days to make weight for a grappling tournament (Yeah, I fucked up. signed up a month ago so would have had an easy 8 weeks to lose 7 pounds. And... yeah no progress and backsliding because I didn't take it seriously.) so I'm hoping this helps a little with the new food appeal and taste.

I remember using one two summers ago when a roommate had one. Mainly did protein shakes with ice and cottage cheese (best milkshake consistency by far) and frozen fruit but my lifting schedule now wouldn't really have me going home to my apartment after. Most days I lift, whey water and a banana, then go to the grappling club.

I work at 6am and this week started mixing some fruit, Greek yogurt, and chia seeds together the night before to bring in and eat after our initial meeting that gets done at like 8 and I'm liking that delayed breakfast strategy as eating at 5:30 left me fighting off and failing half the time the urge to hit the vending machine around 10. Is there anything I can put together in the little cup, blend in the morning, put in my cooler and eat 2 1/2 hours later? That'd be nice. I think actually running the thing in my office would be too disruptive

Edit: main reason I'm asking here instead of just looking online is that I'm looking for some good tasting and healthy things that don't have a boatload of calories and sugar from the fruit. A lot of the stuff I looked online were 400+ cals minimum with the fruit amount to block out the veggie taste. I should have just specified this.

Seems like everyone got one of those in the last 3 months...

I don't have one, but have used a blender previously. Favourite was always:

* Scoop of vanilla protein
* couple of walnuts
* 1 banana
* ice
* Tb instant coffee
* 2-3 tb plain yoghurt

Sometimes, I added a tsp of blue powerade mix. Usually only post wo though

So my milkshake is fucking perfect. Dead serious. I'd buy this at a DQ and be happy

1/2 cup cottage cheese
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (120 cals, brands can be different sized but grams and therefore cals should be close)
1 packet sweetener (or 2t sugar)
half a frozen banana (in 2 or more pieces)
1/2 cup other frozen fruit (about 2 clementines or 4 big strawberries sliced)
2 large ice cubes
1/4-1/3 cup milk (just enough so that it'll actually mix. You want it as thick as possible)
Eat with spoon

-If eating the next day skip the ice and add 1T chia seeds and it's ok
-should be sweet enough to add a handful spinach and not effect the taste just the color

Gonna try to figure out a smoothie using Plain Greek Yogurt and fresh, not frozen, fruit. All the stuff I've found is just like 1/4 cup yogurt, and I'd rather have it be a full cup for the protein.

mmm....

bananas, peanut butter and ice

Instead of ice ill pick up a bag of frozen fruit (strawberries, blueberries, etc(

I love my nutribullet

My fav recipies are a pineapple and strawberries blended together.
Or pineapple and 1 lemon together.
Or plum and apples togethers

Also its quick for a omellete or scrambled eggs. Just put all your ingredients together ( eggs, onion, kale, spinach etc) and blend.

Here is my morning smoothie I make with my NutriBullet:

1. 3-4 large strawberries, sliced
2. Small handful of blueberries
3. Tbsp of chia seeds
4. 1 scoop whey protein, vanilla
5. 1 cup unsweetened hemp milk
6. 1 tsp raw honey

Tastes like strawberry milk!

I never thought of that for the omelette, that's gold.

beet, broccoli, garlic and carrot. Tastes like earth.
