don't want to spoil it, but anyone that is into asians should def. check it out.

anyone seen this movie yet? there is interesting camera work. i guess it's like raid and movies such as that.

ever since parasite won a bunch of awards, netflix has been flooded with korean movies/shows. they are, for me, usually simultaneously good and bad. i also noticed that they follow a very similar color scheme aesthetic with a lot of use of neons.

here are some other korean shit that i watched in the last few months that netflix recommended to me and now i am recommending it for at least one viewing to all of you ... if you're looking for something to watch.

Korean movies are hit or miss. They are really good at emoting deep emotions but their acting/script isn't great yet. There is no in between yet. They are filling the gap in the Asian market though. HK films have been dead since the handover and Chinese censorship. Chinese movies are dookie shoes because they need to pass some sort of censorship review board. The product is always very PC. Japanese acting has always been off because they have a real deep Japanese theater influence on their films.

I honestly don't mind a western version of the original series. Koreans do the same thing with copying American TV. I never seen it though but the website I sometimes watch movies on has international series. I giggle when I see Korean versions of entourage or criminal minds.

Have not watched this, but I am now interested. Thanks, TS.

I've just gotten a copy of Carter, will give it's watch tonight.

TS have you watched The Roundup? It's the sequel to Outlaws, just released

I'm 30 min into Carter and it's great!

Very much in the style of Hardcore Henry...

The fact ts just seemingly just switched it off and considered it done after 15 minutes I'm gonna guess he at the very least managed to jack off to it
You can beat off for 15 mins STRAIGHT?

color me impressed.

yeah it def has that vibe. HH is all first person though and seems a bit more polished. This movie goes for the single take aesthetic but with heavy editing and stitching. It’s very impressive even if not always super smooth.
