Reyes was runnin' , he would start strong then fade every round. He got hunted down by the Lion Jones. Reyes had his chance early in round 4, he hurt Jon but couldn't capitalize, faded , and got dominated. Joe Rogan was extra horrible. Jon bless

Watch it like three more times

I couldn't hear the commentary. What was he saying?

I think that is how the judge saw it. One guy was running away from the fight, and the other was constantly chasing him. The judges didn't believe the runner deserved to win.

The unified rules states that "MMA is an offensive sport." Consequently, in a close fight, judges often reward the fighter who is chasing the fight.

This has been a consistent way a lot of close fights are judged.

You could stick this up to your buttjole or put it in the other 1000k Jon Jones Nuthugers posts trying to convince yourselves about something that didn't happen.

reyes defeated both the former mw champ and the lhw champ. reyes is goat

I like how consistent you are at sucking.

"Running". I love how Reyes using his footwork circling is considered running, while Jon literally turning his back and actually running multiple times during the fight (even getting tagged for it) isn't.

Your opinion means nothing when you can literally and factually assess that Reyes landed more significant strikes and that's all that matter. Plus, if you wanna talk about running, talk about Jon literally turning his back away and running from Reyes more than once.

Fightmetric is trash they don't know what is happening. Blocked or glancing shots isn't in their algorithm

Blocked shots are absolutely in their algorithm. It isn't in your though, that's why you think Jon won. He did nothing relevant for 3 rounds and got outstruck and even RAN, literally, like a pussy, in round 2.

He was on a bicycle and should have parked it and fought more. Maybe next time

If you score rounds strictly on aggression & pressure then you can give Jones every single round in every single one of his fights but in reality his relentless yet methodical pressure hides his low output deceiving your eyes. He doesn't let his shots go when he's pressuring, Santos & Reyes both stuck & move being active fighting smart picking up rounds but if you prefer the fighter who doesn't pull the trigger but is controlling the dance then sure Jones wins every round.

How do you figure? He hit Jon more times then Jon hit him. Moving isn't part of the scoring criteria? 1,2 & 3 Reyes won by outstriking him.

People underestimate how close rounds 2 and 3 were. Jones was advancing and many of Doms strikes were to try to keep Jones from smacking him up. It's like a Zebra with desperate kicks while a Lion is chasing trying to eat, the judges saw that too.
