This is true and completely contradicts Conor's BS about being gassed. He was the fresher fighter in R2. Conor created this excuse out of thin air and his fanboys swallowed it hook, line and sinker.

The "damage" Nate took in that fight was so overrated. Conor hit him with a couple of big shots, but he was hitting a lot of elbow, arm, hand, etc. Conor even said so himself. Nate doesn't get enough credit for showing some "in the pocket" style boxing skills that night.

Without the blood, there would no talk about "damage". The argument can be made that Conor out-boxed Nate in R1 and early R2, but concussive damage was not present.
