Took the fight on short notice. McG had a full camp and was still gassing after the 1st round (his words) which is pathetic for a champion on a full camp

Yep. Conor was getting pieced up. Nothing wrong with quitting on a check mate sub like he did but he really showed lack of heart right before that with the panic wrestling he knows can only end one way with Diaz.
