Just seen this ad. Nothing special, but it really got under my skin.

Need a few free floor lamps I'm a single mom and need them to see in my apartment until the lighting gets re wired prefer drop off as I don't drive light bulbs working in them would be best as I can't see in my apartment to find the light bulbs thanks in the east end of xxxxx

It is the combo of horrible grammer, a lack of thanks, the lying (it is daylight, you CAN find a lightbulb in your apt.), and the feeling of entitlement. This is what kids seem to be ending up like these days.

A guy on my facebook has a gofundme for his college tuition. I see it as begging his friends for money...get a job and take out a loan and be miserable like the rest of us.

Caring this much about how a stranger words an ISO must be exhausting.

Personally, I had a good laugh at the mental image of a car-less single mom trapped in the darkness of her east end apartment, hoping against hope someone sees her ad and comes to rescue her.
