I like watching Bruce Leeroy fight too, but to me this fight has the feeling of Mendes vs Mckenzie when you look at it, bad match making imo

There were other people to match Caceres with

Mendes is a title contender and a main event regular, has Caceras ever been on a main card? This will be a very one sided beat down

If it wasn't for the NC for weed, he'd be on a 5 fight win streak.
It's a redonkulous step up though I agree, but eh, should be a fun fight.

Yeah its a mismatch but hes kinda in the "jds/top of the ladder limbo" after losing to renan twice and now his team mate is champ so im real curious to see what happens with him in the near future. I really want to see the cruz rubber match

I agree 100% been wondering what they were thinking ever since they booked it and why the hell did Caceras accept the fight?

He has to know this doesn't end well for him...

Faber, as always is one win away from a title shot.

They will do anything in their power to get him to win his fights in between title losses.

You should watch TUF (13 I think) with Bruce Leeroy in it, I assure you if you watch it you'll prefer Faber over him

I'm hoping Caceres wins, but it's not likely.

I watched that season, but then my opinion changed after the Johnson fight.

Others have pointed out why this fight makes some sense when you look at the division right now and it boils down to just about everybody else above Caceres is booked, just fought, injured or have lost to Faber recently. Every moment the fight is on the feet it will be closer than most think. The question is if Bruce Leeroy can stop the takedown because I believe the difference in physical strength will be too much for him on the mat and he'll get choked out rather quickly despite his very active guard.

Yes its not really an appropriate match, but if Leroy wins,he just beat a legit top 5 in his division and would be on quite the win streak.Faber is in limbo in his divison,so he shouldn't get top guys right now.

It's not anywhere near the mismatch that Mendes vs Mckenzie was.

I mean, do you guys think it could have been everyone else in line at BW was either booked or injured and Alex was the only one who accepted the fight? That's what makese sense to me.

I've been wrong before though, so who knows.

Faber by guillotine or rnc in the first. The only danger for Faber in this fight is breaking his hand

    He'd still win spamming elbows.
