Lack of discipline, but hardly makes him a natural WW. His ambition was ol´school: wanted to be an openweight fighter, transcending weight classes, that´s why he 1st challenged Fujita (!?!) but had to settle with Machida.

BJ didn't even train at all so it wasn't really surprising.

Penn was an amazing fighter, at the time he was right in there with Fedor and Andy as GOAT and was top 3 best P4P, he was a previous WW champion as well.

To try and pretend that it wasn't a great win for GSP is an insult to how great Penn was.

The way I see it, BJ´s 1st loss against GSP was a QUALITY Loss since he was realistically a LW, and since it was a controversial split decision.

This loss, imo, enhanced more BJ´s resume than GSP´s.

Gsp is the most boring champion in the history of the UFC. This is not up for debate

Good point. Penn was so far and out of shape but still lit GSP up.

I disagree. I thought GSP's performance in the 3rd Hughes fight was his best performance.

Its the fight that made me a BJ fan, most fighters would of rolled over gave there back, turtled and waited for the reff to stop the fight. Bj took that arse whooping like a man

No- I rewatch old fights every now and then, often you see things you forgot, or didnt notice. Its fun.
