Social Just one of the guys: US army to test enlisted men and women with same physical standards

This is only common sense in fact the requirements should be used a bit for all combat or any mos that requirements it.

There will plenty on the left throwing a fit about this.

This bullshit again?

Fuck. I watched the ACFT unfold, fold, refold, and finally fail, get rid of the leg tuck, and finally going back to gender based standards.

I'll score an event where every soldier has to lift their own rucksack up and throw it onto the bed of an LMTV. I bet 70% of the women can't do it.

My second event will be making it all the way through a 3 week field problem without having to go back to the rear area. 70% of the women can't do it.

My third event will be announcing a 12 month deployment and counting how many females are pregnant within 3 months of notification. 50% of the women will be knocked up.

Do all the creepy woke simps not realise that women instantly know they are virgins, or vastly inexperienced, when they argue that men don’t have a significant physical advantage over women?

Bye bye, all but one or two very special ladies.
Not really. The discrepancy is less than I thought.

I think I found what the minimum scores are to pass. I'm seeing 350 total points in 5 events, and each event must have at least 60 points. These are the minimums for each event, then someone has to pick up an extra 50 points in one or two best events.

3 rep hex bar deadlift- 60 points for 140lbsx3, prior women's was 120x3. Not a big change
Hand release pushups (set your chest on the ground and take hands up before starting next rep, hands go right under shoulders not out wide. Definitely look more difficult that a normal pushup)- 10 for 60 points for either gender. This doesn't change.
sprint, drag, carry- (run 25 meters down and back, drag a 90lb sled down and back, carry two 40lb dumbells down and back) men's minimum time was 2:28 and women's was 3:15 so they'll defintiely have to pick up the pace here
Plank- 60 points for 1:30 for either gender, this doesn't change
2 mile run- 22 minutes for men, 23:22 for women. So they'll have to pick up the pace here but 11 minute mile for 2 miles isn't really asking for too much

Definitely a good thing for combat rolls to have the same standard. I've got a friend who's a captain in national guard and she's a feminist that has been harping for that for years. But I think it'll be more like 10% get re-assigned, and another 10% have to prep harder for it. Not some big overhaul. The men vs women gap wasn't all that high. Good to have no more gap tho if women are going to be in combat rolls. It'll help morale more than anything knowing they are all held to the same fitness standards.

Should be stratified by role. Combat roles have one standard. Non-combat roles another.
It is. Combat roles, of either gender, need 350 points to pass. non combats only need 300. Women non combats still have a slightly easier scale to get to that 300.

How could women not demand that? Women are no different than men and should be treated as equals, always! Or, do we screech that while demanding preferential treatment to account for our differences?

If a human can't meet the standard then so be it, the standard exists for a reason... I didn't read the AI generated op but I'll assume we're getting back to some kind of normalcy, in opposition to the crazy we've recently experienced.

The physical standard ought to be by role. If you want to be infantry, then you have to pass their test. If you want to be a SEAL, then you have to pass their test. If you're going to be a desk jockey, perhaps the standards should be lower. I don't want to turn away capable people, but they have to be in a role they are physically suited for.
Ofc should depend from role and position.

For example, for a lot of professions interest + education plus long term continued education plus experience are ....mandatory in real life.

I don't think that you will be concerned about race or age or gender for someone who ensures that you do have water supply, communications and drone, tank in ....working condition.
There will be yes or ....no. this.

Or jobs where you should be precise enough ( but later we will talk in details a bit ) umder stress and after huge physical workload in lesser predictable situations....
You most likely will not have precision like world championship medalist in tournament but you should be able to do job...

However maybe you are specialist with experience to repair tanks, operate drones, repair electronics etc etc.

Why not.

During WW2 teenage girls and boys had been used in ammo and chemical factories, 60+ uncles repaired technique etc too....this worked.
Appears that worked well.

Especially in cases with real wartime economy : you are student in essential field, so ....learn plus do job in spare time ( mandatory )..the same medicine, chemistry, engineering etc... work what is needed and learn. Don't count hours....

Yes, with underage kids in chemical and ammo factories and mining industry too.

It worked pretty well in the end of game.
All society for wartime economy.

This is our history reality.

For example for anti terrorism units one from multiple selection tool is to test how you are able to use firearm under stress immediatately after huge physical workload.
This is just one.

They might ask to get gear up ( full stuff with really normal armour too ) and even shield ( more heavier than riot control shield ) etc perks and run till some maybe 26 - 30 floor ...and after this immediately shot targets you will see. With mark stuff you can't hit and " other stuff ".

I’d say most women probably do demand that. Keep in mind, these decisions are mostly made by men.
