So, with Stipe vs. DC 3 headlining UFC 252 and JDS vs. Rozenstruik already slated for that card, why not just turn it into an all-heavyweight main card? The last time UFC did that (UFC 146?) it was awesome.

Just saw that Derrick Lewis vs. Aleksei Oleinik has been slated for the week before (August 8), but why not just put them on UFC 252 a week later. It's not like anyone needs to see them fight 5 rounds.

Also, with Shamil Abdurkakhimov pulling out of his fight with Cyril Gane at UFC 251, why not just put them on 252 (depending on the injury), and then add some other fight like Walt Harris vs. Blagoy Ivanov or something.

Bam. All heavyweight main card would be a big seller.

No thanks, there’s only about 4 heavyweights worth watching and 2 of them are headlining the card.

I don’t wanna see the blagoy Ivanovs and tai tuvasas of the world on the undercard.

Nahhhh, I can handle 3 or 4 fights max after that I'm asleep or playing EA UFC 3, I respect all fighters except the Colby Covington's of the world but I prefer the middle weight classes. This would be a long drawn out card with a lot of exhaustion. can you watch 10 heavyweight fights that all go the distance?

UFC 146 was the first live UFC event I went to, and it was a blast. I have doubts as to whether there are enough good heavyweights available to do it right now. If there were, I’d be down.

Agree with adding Lewis/Oleinik. But why not pay Jones some extra dough and add Jones/Ngannou...

Pretty sure they already replaced Abdurakhimov with pavlovich. Which I'd rather see at 251 they already took Edgar off that card.

The UFC usually stacks the big boys together maybe it will be 2 HW and 2 LHW fights.

lol that would be awful, 4 out of 5 HW fights are fucking terrible.

Sign me up

The UFC doesn't want to pay these guys and all HW main cards gonna cost him about 1.5 Mil without the title fights. Some of these bigger boys (especially the ones we want to see) get ppppppayed son.

I'm with you though, would love to see it. UFC 146 was really fun. I thought JDS was gonna be a long reigning champ
<DCrying>
Would love to see something like this:

Stipe X DC
Francis X Willing participant
JDS X Rozzy
BB x Olienik
Harris x Sakai

In all fairness, Jones would need more than 2 months to prepare his body for heavyweight. I'd be happy to see Jones/Ngannou in November or December though. UFC really messing up if they don't make that fight.

I wish they would do all 5 fights from the same weight class but 252 has Ankalaev/Cutelaba already, plus Zombie/Ortega & Yoel/Hall are in the works. 2 or 3 will be on the maincard.
