its crazy how when you go with out something for so long you truly forget what you are missing out on and just get accustomed to your situation.

when I moved into this house I just got rid of my bed as I didn't feel like taking apart the frame and the mattress was old anyways. so I bought an air mattress until I felt like buying a real bed again. This did the trick for maybe 2 weeks before my cat's claws punctured it and I started waking up sunken all the way down to the floor.

since then I said "fuck it" and just started laying and sleeping on a pile of pillows and blankets all thrown into a big pile, on top of a memory foam pad. and thats how its been for probably almost a year.

I started having an awful time getting out of my "bed" in the morning. my body just screaming in agony at the soreness until I got up and started moving around.

Just now I decided to air up the mattress and attempt to find the puncture(s). I did! and patched it up. When I laid on it for the first time in forever, my body erupted in a wave of pure euphoria. I simply couldnt believe how good it feels and that I have been sleeping on the god damn floor for as long as I have.

the end.

no Im not poor

Did you not consider sleeping in the cats bed? Uncomfortably sure, but you know........to teach it a lesson.

I bought an air mattress for the back of my suburban a month ago for a camping trip and instantly loved it.

Always slept on the ground, cot, tree boughs, etc when camping before. Night and day difference.

he sleeps where I sleep, doesnt have his own bed. Im going to enjoy the hell out of myself sleeping on air until he pops it again!

I slept in a closet for years.
Followed by a blanket on the floor.
Only to finally get a real bed a few years back.
The feeling was indescribable, I get you TS.

Come on son you know that sounds poor.

Cheap and lazy at best.

thats where my bed pile is! in an extra large walk in closet! its kind of cozy in there to be honest, I can close the door and feel like I'm locked away in a secure hideaway room.

I might try to inflate the air mattress in there if it will fit

I know it sounds poor but I'm just conservative with my money. you know thinking about retirement early. its a top of the line air mattress tho! set me back over $160!

I read "Just got laid on an actual bed for the first time in almost a year"
Needless to say that this story let me dowb

Man, fuck that. I’ve spent too many nights without a bed to ever actually choose to not have one.

Falling asleep drunk in my recliner is a good substitute, though.

is he gonna say I sound poor pls no I already said Im not

I’m sorry, bro. The call has been made. You will now be subject to an unoriginal old sherdog meme that should have died with the likes of Thick, Solid, Tight.

I have gone without a bed for a couple of years. I sleep in a bed now though.

Never slept on a air mattress for any length of time. But they sound awsome.

I don't want to be derivative.... but damn TS, you one poor sounding motherfucker

In other words, you haven’t got laid in almost a year as well... truly sad

Ive always wished I could cut it sleeping on stone. Soft generation.
