Ryan Hall is definitely a dark horse of the division. He is currently 7-1 and has not lost a fight since his debut.

He also won the Ultimate Fighter. But he has been fairly inactive since which begs the question, just how good is Ryan Hall?

Embarrassing Fact: Gray Maynard and Artem Lobov were both able to avoid his submissions while BJ got subbed instantly. Also, Artem almost landed a similar imanari roll in one of his fights.

He’s the best argument in favor of bringing back soccer kicks.

Very good on the ground, not so much on the feet.

It's more like BJ's bjj isn't current.

Got beat by a Bellator fighter and couldn't finish Artem.

Hi BJJ is top notch. There isn't a guy at 145 (or likely 155) that really wants to go to the ground with him. However his punching is nearly non existent. That dude from TUF who was a strong wrestler was able to get on top and pound him out (the got his Visa denied for the finale).

I think he's a good top 10-15 guy and I actually like watching him fight. But he's not strong or athletic enough or good enough standup to crack top 10 I don't think. His takedowns aren't good enough either. If he can't flop around and hope you trip and get you down, he has no other way to win.

Incredible grappler, probably the worst professional fighter I've ever seen on the feet however.

He subs anyone at 145 if he gets them to the ground. Elite specialist who could probably break into top 10

^^this fucking shit right here

In a straight nogi grappling match for subs, not many dudes his weight class are gonna be able to hang. But the rest of Halls game is very questionable. And BJ was just dumb and engaged in a position that Hall was an expert at and welcomed a leg entaglement.

On the pace he's fighting he should have a title shot by 2025

I expect to see artem defend his title against Ryan by end of 2019
