I just like to quote this before people react that he should've given her a much better traditional house or luxuries. In Africa, maybe old folks prefer this simple living with a cozy outdoor kitchen. Doesn't really mean they are poor. For sure Francis has given back to them and is just showing that he's still in touch with his roots.

Nothing beats a home cooked meal from your momma. It's always the best.

Much love.

I love my mom. I'm glad Francis loves him mom too. Thank you for the post @giovanni_ss. You are correct, nothing beats a home cooked meal, made with love.

Grasscutters, aka Cane Rats. Not really a fan, but its not terrible. They eat that all over western Africa. I had it from a street vendor in Ghana. It's supposedly very healthy. High in protein, low in fat. They grow quickly and are pretty durable animals, so they are farmed.

The white guy in those pictures is the guy that runs frank’s gym and trains the kids

It’s pretty awesome actually. What’s wrong with living simply? I’m ready to vacate the big city myself.

Where were you in Ghana? I stayed in Accra for a month and I never saw these
