I just finished the main card and I bet it was a fun night to be on Sherdog.

What fights/moments got the most Sherdoggers panties in a bunch? :icon_chee

To me, the Silva KO was almost too much to take in. I spent the first 5 minutes of the fight explaining to my bro that Silva was the KO artist and Stun Gun was a grappler/grinder.

Def the Palhares incident. And also the Yan Cabral hype train has been incredible.

Team Alpha Male, camp that has fighters like Faber, Joe B, TJ Dillashaw, Danny Castillo, etc.

Since they took on Ludwig as a coach they hadn't had one of their fighters lose a fight in the UFC until Wednesday. They had all been showing great strides in their striking in that time as well(well except Castillo).

Thanks for the explanation. The acronym threw me off. Appreciate it.

Koreaphiles are officially the new Japanophiles. There was even a ceremony and everything in the octagon after DHK's win. They are, for all intents and purposes, impervious to logic.

Japanophiles have stepped down because there's almost no Japanese fighters to support abrasively and singlemindedly any more. Koreaphiles have stepped up.

They're not quite as fond of these though: :icon_neut:(:icon_lol::p:eek: which is good.

That sucks that Paul Harris got cut but he really needs to learn how to release a hold when touched by the ref.

The guy was clearly still flexing when the ref was on top of them.

That said, I'm glad the Brazilians fans got what they deserved. The crowds there are as terrible as it gets. Cheer Brazil all day long, it hurts no one. But booing foreign fighters purely because they are foreign is absolute bullshit.

No I understood the statement, just why did you say it? It's not like there are dozens of pro-Korean fighter threads on here? Maybe I am blind.

I think they did applaud Dong after the KO (there was stunned silence and some grumbling for like 10 secs, then mild applause IIRC). But yeah, the fans that show up for the Brazil cards are a jingoistic bunch.

Well, that's because there aren't. They exhibit many of the same characteristics, although they go lighter on the trolling. The numbers will get there eventually as the sport continues to grow in Korea. That's why I said it.
